A striking centerpiece of master craftsmanship, this expansive panel unites diverse hand-blocked Kelantanese batik patterns within a radiant medallion layout. Every seam honors traditional wax-stamping techniques while introducing contemporary artisanal elegance to modern living spaces.
Bring the rich colors and heritage of Malaysian Batik into your space with this impressive 36″ x 36″ patchwork panel. Each piece is thoughtfully hand-pieced in Ipoh by Sofia, drawing on her years of careful garment construction experience. To make your creative process smoother, Sofia takes the time to ensure every panel is precisely squared and stabilized with a durable white backing. This finishing step prevents stretching, distortion, and fraying, meaning the fabric is perfectly tensioned and ready to sew or display the moment it arrives.
The generous 36″ x 36″ dimensions are beautifully suited for large-scale focal pieces and ambitious craft projects. It serves perfectly on its own as a striking, finished-edge statement wall hanging or a vibrant overlay for a small accent table. For sewists and makers, this ready-to-use square is the ideal foundation for crafting a custom baby play mat, an oversized floor pouf, or a prominent center medallion for a bespoke heirloom quilt. Add a touch of authentic, carefully prepared Malaysian artistry to your handmade crafts.
