Sofia’s Malaysian Batik Patchwork Panel – Grand Tapestry (48″ x 60″)

Bring the intricate beauty of Malaysian Batik into your home on a grand scale with this impressive 48″ x 60″ patchwork tapestry panel. Hand-pieced with care in Ipoh by Sofia, who draws upon her years of thoughtful garment construction experience to ensure every detail is just right. To save you time and effort, Sofia meticulously squares and stabilizes this large-scale panel with a durable white backing. This careful finishing step prevents the stretching, distortion, and fraying often found in raw craft fabrics, ensuring the tapestry is perfectly tensioned and ready to use straight out of the package.

At a generous 48″ x 60″, this grand panel offers endless possibilities. It drapes beautifully as a statement wall hanging, a unique throw over the back of a sofa, or a vibrant bed accent. For makers and sewists, this expansive, ready-to-sew canvas is perfect for major projects like custom headboard upholstery, large statement floor cushions, or the central feature of a bespoke quilt. Add a touch of authentic, carefully prepared Malaysian artistry to your most ambitious creative projects.
